Manager, It Operations

Overview

• Lead IT operations to ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security across the organization.
• Manage a team of IT professionals, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Oversee IT service desk operations, ensuring efficient and high-quality support.
• Drive strategic IT projects, including system upgrades and infrastructure modernization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and manage vendor relationships for IT services and technologies.
• Support budget planning and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead and mentor IT teams, promoting a culture of ownership and service excellence.
• Ensure infrastructure uptime and scalability across facilities and cloud environments.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity tools and protocols.
• Manage IT service desk operations and monitor key performance indicators.
• Analyze incident trends to identify and address root causes.
• Lead IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Coordinate purchasing, licensing, and vendor evaluations for IT services.
• Maintain compliance with IT governance and change management procedures.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing remote technical teams and projects.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure platforms, cybersecurity practices, and ITSM tools.
• Preferred certifications: PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or Microsoft Azure Administrator.
• Experience with ERP systems and security frameworks is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple workstreams effectively.
• Background in distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
