Construction Project Manager

Overview

• Lead construction projects for ground-up manufacturing facilities, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve optimal efficiency.
• Oversee on-site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and teams to maintain project progress.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project challenges.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders and management.
• Ensure projects align with organizational goals and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and performance, addressing issues proactively.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Ensure adherence to construction codes, regulations, and quality standards.
• Manage procurement and logistics for project materials and equipment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety and progress.
• Facilitate team meetings and provide guidance to project staff.
• Prepare and submit project documentation, including progress reports and financial summaries.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management; 7 years preferred.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• Experience with ground-up manufacturing projects is highly desirable.
• Commitment to on-site work in Atlanta.
