Job Description

Overview

  • Assist in planning, budgeting, and overseeing capital projects for infrastructure and facilities management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align project plans with organizational objectives.
  • Support design and construction phases to ensure project completion within budget and schedule.
  • Contribute to procurement processes, including RFQs, RFPs, and contract awards.
  • Monitor project progress and address variances proactively to maintain timelines.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to review project deliverables.
  • Compile research findings into concise reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Promote adherence to quality standards and organizational policies throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules for design and construction projects.
  • Coordinate master schedules to align construction timelines with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee General Contractors and Construction Managers for timely project execution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with staff, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Ensure accurate and organized project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate productive discussions among diverse stakeholders to address project challenges.
  • Adhere to confidentiality rules and organizational policies in all activities.
  • Perform other related responsibilities and special projects as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Facilities Management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination or related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of construction processes, building systems, and design principles.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and diverse work environment.
  • Experience with financial management applications and historical building projects preferred.
