Overview

  • As a Fund Accountant, you will oversee fund accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team to manage capital calls, distributions, and net asset value calculations.
  • Support audit processes and assist in resolving fund accounting inquiries efficiently.
  • Engage with clients to maintain strong relationships and deliver consistent service quality.
  • Contribute to workflow improvements and participate in onboarding new clients.
  • Leverage your financial expertise to perform fee calculations and profit/loss allocations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and net asset value calculations.
  • Execute capital call and distribution processing with precision.
  • Resolve aged items on reconciliations promptly to ensure compliance.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, fostering their professional growth.
  • Assist in audits to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Develop and refine workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with clients and management to maintain service consistency.
  • Participate in client onboarding and transition processes effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or Business.
  • 3-6 years of experience in the finance sector, preferably in fund administration or auditing.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA) is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in proprietary systems and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team structure.
  • Positive attitude and capability to mentor junior team members.
