Job Description

Responsibilities:

·        Review and analyze onboarding materials of prospective external business partners (Managing General Agent, Third Party Administrator, and Adjuster).

·        Liaise with outside business contacts and insurance regulators via email and phone.

·        Coordinate timely curing of internal and external licensing and regulatory deficiencies to support business initiatives.

·        Manage, for compliance and best practice purposes, internal and external audit materials.

·        Understand and implement processes prescribed by various insurance regulators.

·        Field licensing inquiries related to business entities and individuals.

·        Draft digital and hard copy correspondence.

·        Gather licensing and compliance information through research.

·        Complete special projects and assignments as needed.

·        Work within a team environment.

·        Handle multiple, competing priorities.

·        Build strong relationships with co-workers on the Producer Licensing Team

Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree.

·        1-2 years of related law firm or in-house experience.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.

·        Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.

·        Strong organizational and writing skills.

·        A dedicated approach towards the execution of assignments.

·        Performance of tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

·        Ability to follow established workflows and guidelines. 

·        Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.

·        Paralegal certification.

·        Insurance industry experience.

·        Property & casualty licensing experience in multiple states and/or jurisdictions.

·        Warranty experience.
