Overview
- Lead financial planning and analysis initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and modeling, to support strategic decision-making and organizational growth.
- Perform detailed financial and operational analyses to evaluate business performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Enhance internal processes, systems, and procedures to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior management to provide actionable insights and support strategic planning efforts.
- Oversee the monthly forecasting process and contribute to financial reporting enhancements.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address emerging business needs and support executive decision-making.
- Maintain a high level of detail orientation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Support the CFO in producing monthly forecast reviews and other financial presentations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and manage comprehensive financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and modeling for revenue and expense drivers.
- Perform in-depth financial analyses to evaluate business results and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial expertise and decision-making capabilities.
- Define and implement improvements to internal processes, systems, and procedures for operational efficiency.
- Support monthly forecasting processes and contribute to accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct ad-hoc planning and analysis to address emerging business needs and support senior management.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all financial processes and reporting.
- Assist the CFO in preparing monthly forecast reviews and other executive-level financial presentations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with preference for 10 years in relevant industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity in financial processes.
- Experience in real estate, retail, or entertainment industries is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and support other staff as needed in a dynamic environment.
