Job Description

Overview

  • Design and develop advanced electrical systems for autonomous turret applications, focusing on embedded control, power distribution, and high-reliability circuitry.
  • Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts adhering to stringent performance and durability standards.
  • Develop real-time embedded software in C++ and Python, emphasizing reliability and efficiency.
  • Perform simulations for signal integrity, thermal behavior, and electromagnetic compatibility to ensure compliance with military standards.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and software teams for electromechanical integration, ensuring reliable operation in demanding environments.
  • Lead PCB design efforts, applying best practices in layout, power distribution, and EMC/EMI mitigation.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging of embedded electronics and software under real-world conditions.
  • Document technical designs, test procedures, and validation reports thoroughly.
  • Optimize hardware and software for improved responsiveness, reduced power consumption, and enhanced performance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded circuit design and PCB development.
  • Proficiency with EDA tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Eagle.
  • Experience with circuit and system simulation tools for performance evaluation.
  • Advanced programming skills in C++ and Python for embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of robotics and real-time system design.
  • Familiarity with embedded Linux and RTOS environments.
  • Experience with networking protocols and embedded communication standards.
  • Ability to optimize systems under power and computational constraints.
