Job Description

Overview

  • Support deposit servicing needs, ensuring excellent customer experiences and contributing to process improvements within the operations team.
  • Perform intermediate to advanced deposit maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and policies.
  • Handle inquiries from internal customers, providing timely and accurate responses within established service level agreements.
  • Participate in quality assurance reviews and ensure accurate processing of deposit maintenance requests.
  • Contribute to team objectives and support teammates in achieving daily production goals.
  • Engage in assigned projects, identifying risks and escalating concerns appropriately.
  • Maintain knowledge of bank products, services, and deposit operations processes.
  • Adapt to changing procedures and systems, ensuring compliance with dual control standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Respond to customer inquiries, ensuring adherence to policies and service level agreements.
  • Perform quality control reviews on imaged documents and ensure accurate archiving.
  • Process legal documents, including subpoenas, garnishments, liens, and levies.
  • Handle exception items, perform reconciliations, and manage incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Participate in year-end regulatory tax reporting and corrective reporting activities.
  • Perform ICS/CDARs boarding to core operating systems with precision.
  • Research complex transactions and approve transactions for Deposit Operations Associate I.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and ensure confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; minimum 2 years deposit servicing or 3 years operations experience.
  • Intermediate experience with MS Office Suite and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to change effectively.
  • Experience with deposit operations processes and knowledge of banking regulations.
  • Understanding of debits, credits, and basic general ledger entries.
  • Proficiency in handling multiple systems for research and processing tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
