Job Description

Overview

  • Support deposit servicing needs with intermediate to advanced understanding of deposit products and industry experience.
  • Contribute to process improvement and team objectives while ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Interact with internal customers using strong communication and diplomacy skills.
  • Perform deposit maintenance and quality assurance functions adhering to compliance standards.
  • Handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Adapt to changing procedures and systems while maintaining high-quality service.
  • Participate in assigned projects and production year-end regulatory tax reporting.
  • Ensure daily production goals are met and maintain quality standards.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and process legal documents accurately.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Respond to inquiries within established policies and service level agreements.
  • Perform intermediate to advanced deposit maintenance and exception item processing.
  • Ensure compliance with dual control standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide quality customer service by answering calls and resolving inquiries.
  • Participate in quality control reviews and ensure document accuracy before archiving.
  • Identify risks and escalate concerns through proper channels.
  • Research and approve complex transactions and reconcile deposit accounts.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of bank products and services.
  • Support teammates and contribute to team success.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; minimum 2 years deposit servicing experience or 3 years operations experience.
  • Intermediate experience with MS Office Suite and deposit operations processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing procedures and systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of debits, credits, and general ledger entries.
  • Experience with imaging deposit and loan documents and processing legal documents.
