Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage project scope, schedule, staffing, and financial performance, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Project Architects and discipline leaders to align design intent and execution strategies.
- Anticipate and address project risks, changes, and opportunities proactively, ensuring smooth project progression.
- Lead contract negotiations, consultant coordination, and fee management to optimize project outcomes.
- Mentor and coach project managers and team members, fostering professional growth and high-performance teams.
- Contribute to the refinement of project management tools, processes, and standards across the organization.
- Support business development efforts through client engagement, proposal development, and strategic pursuits.
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather insights and inform project strategies effectively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or CCM are preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing architectural or A/E projects; 10 years preferred.
- Proven expertise in project financial management, contracts, and client relationship building.
- Strong understanding of project delivery methods, risk management, and consultant coordination.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead client conversations effectively.
- Ability to travel as needed to support client relationships and project execution.
- Experience mentoring and developing high-performing project teams is highly valued.
