Job Description

Overview

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and execute innovative architectural projects across various sectors.
  • Contribute to the development of master plans, interior designs, and sustainable architecture solutions.
  • Engage in public workshops to gather insights and ensure community-focused design outcomes.
  • Utilize rendering and visualization tools to present design concepts effectively to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with ADA standards, building codes, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in all project phases, from concept development to construction administration.
  • Conduct site assessments and existing conditions evaluations to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on MEP, fire protection, and security system designs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop architectural plans and designs that align with client requirements and project goals.
  • Coordinate with landscape architects and engineers to integrate multidisciplinary solutions.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
  • Facilitate client representation and communication throughout project phases.
  • Conduct workshops and presentations to engage stakeholders and gather feedback.
  • Perform code compliance reviews and ensure adherence to accessibility standards.
  • Utilize forensic architecture techniques for historical preservation and restoration projects.
  • Manage construction administration tasks, including site visits and contractor coordination.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in rendering and visualization software for design presentations.
  • Knowledge of ADA standards, building codes, and sustainability principles.
  • Experience in master planning, interior design, and construction administration.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams including engineers and planners.
  • Ability to conduct public workshops and engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Familiarity with MEP, fire protection, and security system design.
