Overview
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and execute innovative architectural projects across various sectors.
- Contribute to the development of master plans, interior designs, and sustainable architecture solutions.
- Engage in public workshops to gather insights and ensure community-focused design outcomes.
- Utilize rendering and visualization tools to present design concepts effectively to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with ADA standards, building codes, and other regulatory requirements.
- Participate in all project phases, from concept development to construction administration.
- Conduct site assessments and existing conditions evaluations to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on MEP, fire protection, and security system designs.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop architectural plans and designs that align with client requirements and project goals.
- Coordinate with landscape architects and engineers to integrate multidisciplinary solutions.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
- Facilitate client representation and communication throughout project phases.
- Conduct workshops and presentations to engage stakeholders and gather feedback.
- Perform code compliance reviews and ensure adherence to accessibility standards.
- Utilize forensic architecture techniques for historical preservation and restoration projects.
- Manage construction administration tasks, including site visits and contractor coordination.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design; 5 years preferred.
- Proficiency in rendering and visualization software for design presentations.
- Knowledge of ADA standards, building codes, and sustainability principles.
- Experience in master planning, interior design, and construction administration.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams including engineers and planners.
