Overview
- Provide speech-language pathology services to students in a nurturing educational environment.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children with speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Assess students' speech-language skills to identify therapy needs.
- Deliver speech therapy services as outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with colleagues during team meetings to discuss student progress.
- Provide training and resources to parents to support therapy goals.
- Participate in staff development and in-service training activities.
- Meet regularly with supervisors to review therapy plans and outcomes.
- Ensure therapy practices align with professional and educational standards.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in speech-language pathology or related field.
- New York State certification as a Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped or Students with Speech and Language Disabilities.
- Professional license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York State.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with children and families.
- Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
