Job Description

Overview

  • Drive SEC reporting and equity administration, ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting organizational financial strategies.
  • Prepare and review SEC filings, including 10Ks and 10Qs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Manage equity plans, including stock-based compensation and reconciliations, ensuring seamless administration and compliance.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits and reviews to facilitate efficient processes and compliance.
  • Support quarterly earnings releases and investor relations presentations with precise financial data and analysis.
  • Engage in special projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within financial reporting.
  • Provide training and guidance on accounting developments to enhance organizational knowledge.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment on financial reporting and compliance strategies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review SEC filings, ensuring compliance and consistency with regulatory standards.
  • Manage equity plans, including journal entries, reconciliations, and personnel updates, in collaboration with HR and Legal teams.
  • Support external auditors during audits and reviews, ensuring regulatory adherence.
  • Maintain and update Sarbanes-Oxley 404 processes to strengthen internal controls.
  • Provide training on accounting developments to business partners, fostering organizational knowledge.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment on financial reporting strategies.
  • Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize reporting processes.
  • Present insights to executive leadership, supporting strategic decision-making.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in public accounting or SEC reporting roles, showcasing expertise in compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools such as Workiva, SAP, and/or OneStream.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP principles, SEC regulations, and stock-based compensation practices.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proven ability to present insights to leadership and contribute to strategic decisions.
