Overview

  • Lead and optimize operational strategies for a dynamic organization, ensuring seamless processes and compliance across all functions.
  • Manage relationships with external service providers, including fund administrators, brokers, and custodians, to ensure efficient collaboration.
  • Oversee trading operations, ensuring accurate trade processing, settlements, and reconciliations while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
  • Supervise cash flow activities and maintain precise financial records for client accounts, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory filings, ensuring adherence to industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational workflows and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Review fund documentation and ensure alignment with advisory agreements and regulatory guidelines.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the operational framework, promoting strategic problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage daily operations and maintain productive relationships with service providers to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Oversee trade execution processes, settlements, reconciliations, and corporate actions with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate cash movements and comprehensive financial recordkeeping to support organizational goals.
  • Prepare regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and deadlines to maintain industry integrity.
  • Collaborate with teams to optimize operational processes and workflows, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Conduct reviews of fund documents and advisory agreements to ensure compliance and alignment with regulations.
  • Promote strategic problem-solving and operational efficiency within the team to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Support organizational goals and contribute to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, with a focus on relevant disciplines such as finance or business administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hedge fund operations; 8 years preferred for advanced roles.
  • Proficiency in international equity and derivatives trading operations, showcasing expertise in complex financial instruments.
  • Experience managing operations across multiple locations and time zones, demonstrating adaptability and leadership.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and Bloomberg for data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Eze OMS is advantageous, showcasing technical proficiency in operational tools.
  • Strong organizational, process-management, and interpersonal relationship skills to drive team collaboration.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with a strategic mindset for problem-solving.
