Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage nursing staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage for procedures and patient care.
- Develop and implement policies to enhance care quality and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards, including AAAHC.
- Coordinate with anesthesia providers and surgical teams for seamless operations.
- Monitor patient outcomes and lead initiatives to elevate care standards.
- Provide support in the operating room during breaks to ensure uninterrupted care.
- Lead efforts to achieve and maintain AAAHC accreditation, driving organizational excellence.
- Facilitate effective communication among staff and stakeholders to promote collaboration.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with a focus on surgical or critical care settings.
- Proven leadership experience in roles such as Charge Nurse or Nursing Director.
- Comprehensive understanding of surgical processes and operating room dynamics.
- Knowledge of AAAHC accreditation processes and healthcare compliance standards.
