Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Room patients, obtain vitals, and update medical histories accurately.
  • Administer injections and draw blood following clinical protocols.
  • Perform data entry tasks into the EMR system efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment to ensure patient safety.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and procedural support.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to address their concerns and provide information.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize clinical workflows and patient outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical Assistant diploma preferred; certification not mandatory.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant; 2 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably eClinicalWorks.
  • Experience with rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and performing phlebotomy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
