Job Description

Overview

  • Lead credit fund accounting operations for a remote, dynamic financial services firm.
  • Oversee client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and adherence to deadlines.
  • Develop and implement processes for accurate and timely fund administration.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to achieve strategic goals.
  • Provide leadership in client engagements from proposal through implementation.
  • Review fund financial statements and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Support audits and maintain productive relationships with auditors.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Serve as the primary contact for credit fund client relationships.
  • Oversee staffing and training for internal and external deliverables.
  • Implement partnership allocation models in line with agreements.
  • Coordinate investor communications and review investment transactions.
  • Approve management fee calculations, invoices, and journal entries.
  • Review cash reconciliation processes for partnerships and portfolio companies.
  • Calculate and review credit fund performance metrics.
  • Lead preparation and review of materials for audits.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in credit fund accounting.
  • Preferred 12 years of experience in financial services or fund administration.
  • Proficiency in systems like Investran Live, Salesforce CRM, and Intralinks.
  • Strong knowledge of fund performance metrics and financial reporting.
  • Experience in audit preparation and compliance processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
