Overview

  • Manage and oversee project scheduling for mission-critical construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and maintain comprehensive schedules using industry-standard software tools.
  • Analyze project timelines, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to align schedules with project objectives and resource availability.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project progress to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in project scheduling and management.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop detailed project schedules, incorporating all phases of construction and critical milestones.
  • Monitor schedule adherence and proactively address deviations to maintain project timelines.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate schedule inputs.
  • Utilize scheduling software to create and update project schedules, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Conduct schedule risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to mitigate delays.
  • Prepare and present schedule reports and analyses to stakeholders and management.
  • Maintain documentation of scheduling processes and decisions for future reference.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling; 7 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and mission-critical project requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess project timelines and identify risks.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on-site and travel as required for project needs.
