Job Description
Overview
- Provide technical support to end users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance system functionality and user experience.
- Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues and resolutions for knowledge base improvement.
- Educate users on new systems and best practices for effective technology utilization.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on devices to ensure security and performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance support services.
- Support clients onsite in Nanuet 2-3 days per week, with occasional travel required.
- Report directly to the Director of Engineering for guidance and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for hardware, software, and network systems.
- Provide proactive customer outreach to understand and address technical needs.
- Educate users on system applications and effective technology use.
- Document technical issues and resolutions to maintain organized records.
- Collaborate with team members to improve systems and user satisfaction.
- Perform regular device maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Travel to client locations as needed, providing onsite technical support.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support or help desk roles.
- Preferred 5 years of experience in similar roles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented approach.
- Familiarity with operating systems, applications, and network troubleshooting tools.
- Willingness to work onsite in Nanuet 2-3 days per week.
- Ability to travel occasionally to client locations.
