Overview
- Manage relationships with external vendors for credentialing services, ensuring compliance and efficiency in processes.
- Coordinate credentialing cases, updating statuses, and assigning tasks to staff members.
- Monitor provider networks for changes, sanctions, and exclusions, ensuring timely updates and reporting.
- Prepare and present credentialing committee agendas, summaries, and reports for review.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve data issues and improve processes.
- Conduct audits of delegated vendors, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Support special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required by business needs.
- Fully remote role with flexible working arrangements in approved states.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Daily review and management of credentialing cases, ensuring accurate updates and assignments.
- Provide feedback to vendors and track support tickets for resolution.
- Coordinate approvals for providers and facilities, updating statuses and notifying stakeholders.
- Prepare and present quarterly and bi-monthly committee reports and updates.
- Monitor vendor audits and compliance deliverables, providing updates to relevant teams.
- Oversee telehealth application reviews and directory updates.
- Collaborate with analysts to retrieve and import data into credentialing platforms.
- Attend regular meetings with vendors and internal teams to discuss issues and solutions.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare vendor management and credentialing.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, DocuSign, and SharePoint.
- Strong collaborative and problem-solving skills in complex environments.
- Detail-oriented team player with excellent organizational abilities.
- Experience in healthcare industry settings such as managed care organizations or hospitals.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing timelines.
