Overview
- Manage relationships with external vendors performing credentialing-related business services.
- Coordinate credentialing processes and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Prepare and oversee credentialing committee agendas and provider summaries.
- Monitor provider networks and address actions or sanctions as necessary.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve credentialing data issues.
- Conduct audits of delegated vendors to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Utilize advanced MS Office tools, DocuSign, and SharePoint for credentialing processes.
- Support special projects and adapt to changing business needs.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Review incoming credentialing cases and update case notes accordingly.
- Coordinate Medical Director approvals and update statuses in the credentialing platform.
- Log and track support tickets for vendor management issues.
- Communicate data issues to stakeholders for resolution and improvement.
- Monitor provider network changes and ensure accurate credentialing status updates.
- Prepare quarterly presentations and reports for compliance committees.
- Conduct annual audits of delegated vendors and oversee corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address credentialing challenges effectively.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare vendor management.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, DocuSign, and SharePoint.
- Experience in managed care organizations or healthcare credentialing preferred.
- Strong collaborative and problem-solving skills in complex environments.
