Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform detailed medical reviews of clinical assessments to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Develop and finalize wellness plans tailored to individual patient needs and guidelines.
  • Provide expert clinical support to staff to meet organizational goals effectively.
  • Facilitate patient access to healthcare services, addressing compliance challenges.
  • Maintain proficiency in healthcare software systems for efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement and refine clinical policies and procedures.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Participate in ongoing education to stay abreast of medical innovations and technologies.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a current unrestricted NYS license.
  • Board Certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association.
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in medical or clinical practice.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical and behavioral health diagnoses and treatment protocols.
  • Proficiency in healthcare software systems such as SEAMS, EPIC, PSYCKES, and Bronx RHIO.
  • Familiarity with SSA disability application processes is preferred.
  • Experience with NYC HRA processes and requirements is advantageous.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
