Job Description

Overview

  • Manage human resources functions, including onboarding, terminations, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Oversee office operations, including supplies, cleaning, and employee device management.
  • Coordinate health insurance policies, audits, and budgeting with the CFO.
  • Handle employee complaints, personal issues, and authorization letters.
  • Track pay raises, bonuses, and census data for all employees.
  • Develop and manage the employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate events, including donations, registrations, guest lists, and advertisements.
  • Attend and manage unemployment cases and legal documentation.
  • Participate in quarterly and annual PEO company meetings for updates on laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Create and maintain company policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
  • Manage onboarding and terminations through the HR portal.
  • Oversee HR compliance for federal and state regulations.
  • Track and manage PTO for all employees.
  • Coordinate office supplies, cleaning, and employee devices.
  • Handle health insurance audits and policy reviews with the CFO.
  • Coordinate staffing activities, including posting, interviewing, and offer letters.
  • Provide documentation for worker’s compensation hearings and DOL audits.
  • Oversee payroll, reporting, and sensitive personnel information.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in human resources or office management.
  • Proficiency in HR compliance, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of health insurance policies and audits.
  • Experience with payroll and personnel information management.
  • Ability to coordinate events and manage office operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work onsite with adaptable hours.
