Overview

  • Temporary role as a Payroll Tax Coordinator for a 3-month contract with potential extension.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Register new unemployment accounts for customers hiring in new states.
  • File necessary Power of Attorney documents for state compliance.
  • Communicate with state unemployment offices to ensure proper account setup.
  • Draft and send emails to customers regarding account information requirements.
  • Maintain tax reporting software by updating customer and tax data.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve inquiries and improve operational processes.
  • Track state trends and proactively address related issues.
  • Stay informed about state regulations affecting business registrations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional customer service experience; payroll tax experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
