Overview

  • Drive strategic business development initiatives in private equity, credit, and hedge fund sectors to expand market presence and achieve growth objectives.
  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to secure new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that align with client goals and industry standards.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, enhancing visibility and fostering connections with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
  • Utilize advanced CRM tools to manage leads, track progress, and provide actionable insights on sales activities.
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives aimed at increasing brand recognition and attracting prospective clients.
  • Ensure seamless onboarding of new clients, coordinating with operational teams to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Identify, cultivate, and manage a pipeline of business opportunities within targeted sectors to achieve revenue goals.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for prospects, guiding them through the sales process and addressing inquiries effectively.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of due diligence questionnaires, RFPs, and RFIs for potential clients.
  • Collaborate with sales support teams to develop compelling proposals, contracts, and presentations.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of services to effectively communicate benefits and solutions to clients.
  • Conduct competitive research to stay informed on market trends and competitor strategies.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences and events to build relationships and identify opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, client interactions, and provide detailed reports.
  • Ensure successful implementation of new business and transition to servicing teams for ongoing support.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial services, fintech, or fund administration; preferred 10 years in private equity, credit, or hedge fund sectors.
  • Proven ability to sell complex solutions and manage client relationships effectively.
  • Strong proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead RFP/RFI processes and consistently meet sales targets.
  • High energy, strategic mindset, and ability to interact with C-level executives.
  • Availability for travel up to 30% of the time.
  • A growing network of fund managers, sponsors, and industry influencers preferred.
