Overview

  • Lead operations at a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center with advanced equipment and diverse surgical specialties.
  • Collaborate with physicians, staff, and governing boards to ensure clinical quality and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee financial performance, staffing, and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives, infection control, and patient satisfaction efforts.
  • Support physician credentialing processes and foster strong professional relationships.
  • Develop and manage budgets for operations, staffing, and capital expenditures.
  • Identify opportunities for service line development and operational enhancements.
  • Work closely with leadership to ensure sustainable performance and consistent operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily operations, including administrative, clinical support, and business functions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards.
  • Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets effectively.
  • Monitor financial performance and address operational risks proactively.
  • Support physician relationships, credentialing processes, and medical staff coordination.
  • Manage vendor, service, and physician contracts efficiently.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and enhance patient experience.
  • Participate in operational reviews and facility performance reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for service line development and operational improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical leadership; 5 years preferred.
  • Executive-level experience with strong operational management skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with physicians and staff.
  • Experience in quality improvement, infection control, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards in healthcare.
  • Strong financial management and budget development skills.
  • Ability to identify and implement operational improvements effectively.
