Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to fund accounting and investment analytics within a dynamic investment management firm.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, investor allocation schedules, and partner capital account statements.
  • Coordinate with administrators and ensure accuracy in books and records reconciliation.
  • Facilitate portfolio reporting, compile investment data, and prepare track records.
  • Analyze cash flows, calculate investor performance, and support internal and external reporting.
  • Assist with fund modeling, expense accruals, and historical expense analysis.
  • Support audits, property-level reporting, and compliance with lender covenants.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure high-quality reporting.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform fund and investment-level reconciliations and tie-outs with administrators.
  • Review waterfall models and investor allocation schedules for accuracy.
  • Compile historical and projected investment data for portfolio analytics.
  • Prepare quarterly financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Assist with capital calls, distributions, and reconciliations.
  • Support due diligence inquiries and ad-hoc investor requests.
  • Oversee property-level reporting, audits, and onboarding procedures.
  • Collaborate on interim and year-end audits for funds and investments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • 4-8 years of experience in asset management or public accounting preferred.
  • Proficiency in fund accounting and investment analytics is essential.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Power BI and VBA is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of real estate and private equity investments preferred.
  • Experience with investor reporting and compliance processes is advantageous.
