Job Description

Overview

  • Lead cybersecurity efforts to safeguard the client’s digital assets and ensure operational resilience.
  • Implement cutting-edge security technologies to mitigate risks and enhance defenses.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
  • Perform regular security audits and assessments to maintain compliance and identify vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce robust security policies.
  • Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies to strengthen organizational defenses.
  • Provide expert guidance on security strategies and best practices to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage and optimize security solutions, including firewalls, antivirus systems, and endpoint detection tools.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate threats.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Develop comprehensive security reports and track performance metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with incident response teams during critical security events to ensure effective resolution.
  • Configure and audit network and system security settings to maintain optimal protection.
  • Perform malware analysis and research exploit techniques to proactively address threats.
  • Enhance security processes to align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, including incident response and forensic analysis.
  • Proficiency in security technologies such as Palo Alto firewalls, CyberArk, and SIEM tools.
  • Skilled in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, and VB for automation and analysis.
  • Preferred certifications include GIAC GSEC, PCNSE, and OSCP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Availability for emergency calls and occasional travel as required.
