Overview
- Provide comprehensive pediatric care to children from infancy through adolescence in a community-based health center.

- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in pediatric patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct routine checkups, immunizations, and developmental screenings for pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions effectively.
- Provide counseling to families on nutrition, growth, and wellness topics.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Maintain detailed and timely patient records using electronic health systems.
- Participate in public health initiatives and quality improvement programs.
- Engage in professional development and training opportunities as required.
- Provide culturally sensitive care, with a preference for bilingual Creole-speaking candidates.
Job Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Pediatrics.
- Current New York State medical license or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in community health or outpatient pediatrics.
- Preferred 4 years of experience in pediatric care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual Creole/English candidates strongly preferred.
