Job Description

Overview

  • Lead construction projects as a Commercial Superintendent, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion.
  • Oversee ground-up commercial construction projects exceeding $20M in scope.
  • Collaborate with project teams to achieve client satisfaction and project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulations.
  • Manage on-site operations, including subcontractors and material deliveries.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to field staff and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to address project challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise all aspects of on-site construction activities.
  • Develop and implement project schedules and plans.
  • Ensure adherence to project budgets and timelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals.
  • Resolve on-site issues and conflicts promptly.
  • Monitor safety protocols and enforce compliance.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in construction management or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of field experience in commercial construction.
  • Preferred 10 years of experience managing projects exceeding $20M.
  • Proven expertise in ground-up construction processes.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Willingness to relocate and work on-site as required.
