Overview

  • Contribute to innovative architectural projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional designs and solutions.
  • Develop detailed construction documents, ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
  • Utilize advanced design software, including Revit and Adobe Creative Suite, to create impactful designs.
  • Engage in creative problem-solving to address unique design challenges effectively.
  • Participate in site documentation and contract administration tasks to ensure project success.
  • Contribute to the development of technical specifications and detailed interior/exterior designs.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and team members to maintain strong communication and project alignment.
  • Support professional development initiatives within the architectural team.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead design efforts across architectural and interior detailing projects, ensuring exceptional quality and innovation.
  • Prepare concept sketches, plans, elevations, schedules, and detailed design documents.
  • Analyze building codes and guidelines to ensure compliance in project execution.
  • Coordinate with engineering disciplines to align systems and project documentation seamlessly.
  • Document and participate in project meetings, ensuring effective communication and follow-up actions.
  • Conduct physical site walkthroughs and documentation during various project phases.
  • Manage construction site meetings and prepare punch lists for contract administration.
  • Mentor and guide designers and interns, fostering professional growth and development.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture from an accredited program required.
  • Architecture license required for Project Architect; not required for Project Designer.
  • Proficiency with Revit, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong design orientation and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Experience in producing construction documents and understanding interior/exterior detailing.
  • Knowledge of building codes and client facility standards.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment.
