Overview

  • Lead payroll operations for a multi-state organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage payroll processes, including union and non-union payrolls, using advanced systems.
  • Develop scalable payroll procedures and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting teams for seamless payroll integration.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and union payroll regulations.
  • Support audits and maintain organized payroll records.
  • Administer benefits and 401(k) plans, ensuring accurate deductions.
  • Train local administrators and onboard new divisions into payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Execute end-to-end payroll processing for all entities, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Manage union and non-union payrolls, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Develop payroll documentation and standard operating procedures for scalability.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update payroll processes accordingly.
  • Administer employee benefits and 401(k) contributions accurately.
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting teams for payroll integration.
  • Train and guide local administrators on payroll and benefits procedures.
  • Support audits and maintain well-documented payroll records.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 4 years of payroll management experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems such as iSolved and ERP platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and union payroll regulations.
  • Experience in benefits administration and 401(k) contributions management.
  • Ability to develop scalable payroll procedures and improve operational efficiency.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for compliance and audits.
  • Strong communication skills for training and cross-functional collaboration.
