Job Description

Overview

  • Perform advanced imaging procedures including CT and X-Ray to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Administer contrast media and monitor patient responses effectively.
  • Contribute to quality assurance and equipment maintenance protocols.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform CT and X-Ray imaging procedures as per physician orders.
  • Educate patients regarding imaging processes and ensure their cooperation.
  • Administer and monitor contrast media during imaging procedures.
  • Evaluate and report patient conditions during and post-procedure.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to quality control standards.
  • Assist in 3-D post-processing and reporting scan results.
  • Participate in training and mentoring new team members.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) and ARRT certification in CT within 12 months.
  • State licensure if required by law.
  • Possess BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience; 2 years preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of imaging techniques and patient care protocols.
