Fund Accounting Manager

Overview

• Lead fund accounting operations for a dynamic private equity firm in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Supervise fund accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reports.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Coordinate with investment teams to support fund operations.
• Implement and maintain accounting systems and controls.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and service providers.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably in private equity.
• Proven leadership experience at a director level or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Expertise in managing audits and liaising with external auditors.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
