Job Description

Overview

  • Lead accounting operations for high-net-worth clients, entertainers, and small businesses in a remote work environment.
  • Oversee daily cash management, accounts payables/receivables, and general ledger postings.
  • Collaborate with clients and vendors to ensure accurate financial transactions and reporting.
  • Provide expertise in bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, and tax knowledge.
  • Work on special projects and new client setups to enhance service delivery.
  • Utilize advanced software tools like QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite for efficient operations.
  • Contribute to a flexible, transparent, and diverse work environment.
  • Engage in mentoring and collaboration to support career growth and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage daily cash flow and financial transactions for high-profile clients.
  • Review and approve accounts payables/receivables and bank reconciliations.
  • Respond to client and partner requests promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure accurate bookkeeping and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Handle royalty statements for artists, publishers, and writers.
  • Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Participate in strategic planning and execution of client projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 6-8 years of experience in accounting, preferably with high-net-worth clients.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Experience in the entertainment and music industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects effectively.
  • Excellent client service orientation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of artist, publisher, and writer royalty statements is a plus.
