Overview

  • Lead and manage interior design projects across diverse sectors including government, education, hospitality, and DOD.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
  • Utilize your expertise in interior design to deliver innovative and functional solutions.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior designers and project staff.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including NCIDQ certification requirements.
  • Engage with clients to understand their vision and translate it into actionable design plans.
  • Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and present interior design concepts tailored to client needs and project goals.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate design elements seamlessly.
  • Monitor project progress and address any challenges to maintain schedules and budgets.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation aligns with plans and specifications.
  • Prepare detailed project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Facilitate client meetings to review project updates and gather feedback.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative solutions into designs.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Art in Interior Design or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in interior design project management; 12 years preferred.
  • NCIDQ certification required.
  • Proven experience in government, education, hospitality, and DOD projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and client engagement abilities.
  • Proficiency in design software and project management tools.
  • Ability to work on-site in Dallas, ensuring hands-on project oversight.
