Overview
- Provide high-quality nursing care in an ambulatory setting, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to diverse patient populations.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record Systems to document and manage patient information effectively.
- Work within a dynamic clinical environment, adapting to varying schedules and patient needs.

- Support pediatric and women’s health initiatives, providing specialized care as needed.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patient responses and reporting any adverse effects.
- Coordinate patient care plans with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic treatment approaches.
- Perform routine and specialized clinical procedures, maintaining adherence to established protocols.
- Educate patients and families on health management, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies in all clinical activities.
- Monitor and manage clinic operations, addressing any issues to maintain efficiency and quality.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Science Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited institution; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Minimum two years of experience in ambulatory settings such as clinics or health centers.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Record Systems, preferably eClinicalWorks, with training provided.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage activities in a busy clinical environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish and experience in pediatric or women’s health are preferred.
