Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Administer direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and education in accordance with clinical protocols.
  • Coordinate patient flow and manage clinical activities to maintain efficiency and quality care.
  • Supervise and mentor clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and safety.
  • Utilize eClinicalWorks for patient records, scheduling, and communication, ensuring accurate data entry and retrieval.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational effectiveness.
  • Provide specialized care in pediatric and women’s health, addressing unique patient needs.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited institution; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an ambulatory setting, such as emergency rooms or clinics.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Record systems, preferably eClinicalWorks, with training provided.
  • Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric and women’s health care is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage activities in a busy clinical environment.
