Overview

  • Develop and maintain a cutting-edge market data platform supporting investment strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate data solutions and tools.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design, build, and support a world-class data platform for diverse data types.
  • Develop tools and automation capabilities for efficient data pipeline management.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to understand and address data needs.
  • Work with timeseries databases for effective data storage and querying.
  • Build data quality tools ensuring validation and error handling.
  • Investigate and resolve data issues with providers and internal teams.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative data solutions for investment insights.
  • Support the integration of alternative and unstructured data into the platform.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in software development roles.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of fixed income products like options and swaps is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AWS ecosystem and streaming pipelines preferred.
  • Experience with OLAP platforms and timeseries databases advantageous.
  • Understanding of key financial vendors like Bloomberg and FactSet is beneficial.
