Overview

  • Join a dynamic finance team within a leading asset management firm, contributing to fund accounting and financial reporting excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Investor Relations, and Portfolio Finance, to ensure accurate financial processes.
  • Gain exposure to diverse hedge fund strategies and financial products, enhancing your professional expertise.
  • Engage with external administrators, auditors, and valuation specialists to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the valuation and NAV processes, ensuring consistency with GAAP and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in transaction support and portfolio monitoring, adding value to investment lifecycle management.
  • Work in a collaborative environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare daily analysis of trading positions, profit and loss, and management reports.
  • Manage monthly NAV processes with administrators, ensuring timely completion within SLA.
  • Contribute to investment valuation processes, preparing reports for the quarterly Valuation Committee.
  • Assist in regulatory reporting, investor snapshots, and ad hoc requests from stakeholders.
  • Oversee year-end audit and tax-related queries, reviewing financial statements prepared by administrators.
  • Provide transaction support for private negotiated transactions and portfolio monitoring.
  • Develop and implement practices, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency and internal controls.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with a strong academic record.
  • 4-6 years of experience in public accounting or asset management finance roles.
  • CPA qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and intellectual curiosity.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Energetic, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to responsibilities.
