Vice President, End User Infrastructure And M365 Operations

Overview

• Lead the operations and optimization of Microsoft 365 services for enterprise-wide use.
• Ensure robust security, compliance, and performance across M365 and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance infrastructure resilience and scalability.
• Drive automation using PowerShell scripting for operational efficiency and compliance.
• Monitor and adopt new M365 features while maintaining secure implementation practices.
• Contribute to the organization’s Zero Trust security framework and hybrid identity management.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and runbooks for operational transparency and audit readiness.
• Support integration of M365 services with on-premises and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Oversee daily operations of M365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
• Manage device compliance and application protection policies via Intune.
• Administer tenant settings, license management, and governance controls.
• Develop and execute PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting.
• Collaborate with SOC and Identity teams to resolve security incidents.
• Support hybrid identity operations including AAD Connect synchronization.
• Maintain accurate documentation and operational baselines for audit readiness.
• Monitor M365 roadmap updates and coordinate secure adoption of new features.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 12 years of IT experience, with 5+ years in M365 operations.
• Expertise in Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation and reporting.
• Knowledge of Conditional Access, MFA, and device compliance policies.
• Preferred certifications: MS-500, MS-100/MS-101, SC-300, AZ-500.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender suite and Purview Compliance.
• Familiarity with API integrations or Graph API for M365 automation.
