Job Description
Overview
- Support the reporting department in preparing financial schedules, analyses, and SEC filings.
- Contribute to the coordination and preparation of subsidiary financial statements and disclosures.
- Maintain compliance with SEC and NYSE rules and regulations, including dividend notifications and section 16 filings.
- Provide support for external and internal audit requests, including SOX 404 compliance.
- Participate in the preparation of reporting packages for the Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
- Coordinate external press releases and support investor relations activities.
- Perform competitive peer analysis and other ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare SEC filings including 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, Proxy, and subsidiary financial statements.
- Develop and maintain periodic workpapers and analyses supporting financial statement disclosures.
- Administer stock responsibilities, including preparing Form 4s and dividend payments.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to gather timely financial information.
- Complete quarterly disclosure checklists ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Support external and internal audits, including SOX 404 compliance.
- Assist in preparing reporting packages for the Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
- Coordinate external press releases and investor relations functions.
- Conduct competitive peer analysis and ad-hoc financial analyses as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
- Minimum of 2 years professional accounting experience; 3 years preferred.
- Proficiency in GAAP and internal controls over financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting tasks.
- Experience with SEC filings and compliance is highly desirable.
- Ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment.
