Job Description

Overview

  • Assist in overseeing construction projects within the Interiors and Multifamily group, ensuring quality and timely completion.
  • Collaborate with project teams to manage schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Support the Superintendent in supervising on-site operations and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to maintain project progress and quality.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Provide technical assistance and problem-solving support to the construction team.
  • Contribute to project documentation and reporting for stakeholders.
  • Participate in project planning and pre-construction meetings to align objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist in managing daily on-site construction activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with project teams to maintain schedules and address challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements on-site.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Support the Superintendent in enforcing quality control standards.
  • Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Participate in project planning and contribute to strategy development.
  • Facilitate communication between the construction team and external parties.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications in construction management preferred.
  • 4-8 years of experience in construction, with a focus on Interiors and Multifamily projects.
  • Proficiency in construction software and tools for scheduling and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in construction.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage teams effectively.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments.
  • Experience in coordinating subcontractors and vendors to ensure project success.
