Job Description

Overview

  • Lead the implementation and management of construction technology systems for a general contracting firm.
  • Collaborate with field staff to optimize software tools and training programs.
  • Develop strategies for ERP system replacement and integration with construction processes.
  • Work alongside the current Director of Information Systems to ensure seamless transition and knowledge transfer.
  • Focus on enhancing safety software and its integration with field operations.
  • Provide executive-level leadership in construction technology management and innovation.
  • Act as a liaison between IT and construction teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay updated with industry trends to implement cutting-edge technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee the training and development of field staff on construction technology systems.
  • Manage and optimize field software tools such as Procore and safety software.
  • Develop and implement programs that align technology with construction operations.
  • Lead the transition and replacement of ERP systems to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology strategies with organizational goals.
  • Ensure seamless integration of technology solutions across departments.
  • Provide strategic guidance on technology investments and innovations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented technology systems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction technology; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in field software tools such as Procore and safety software.
  • Experience in ERP system management and replacement processes.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise between IT and construction teams.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and emerging construction technologies.
