Job Description

Overview

  • Manage technical health for assigned accounts, ensuring environments are stable, secure, and compliant.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and proactive risk reduction for client environments.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, driving continuous improvement and strategic planning.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, standards, and clear next steps for delivery teams.
  • Support VCIO planning with technical insights, risks, and actionable recommendations.
  • Manage Microsoft Modern Workplace and Azure cloud environments effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Own technical health for assigned accounts, maintaining deep understanding of client infrastructure.
  • Support VCIO with technical input for roadmaps, lifecycle planning, and budgets.
  • Act as an escalation engineer for complex issues across various technical domains.
  • Drive proactive improvements, identifying security gaps and operational risks.
  • Maintain and improve client documentation, diagrams, standards, and configuration records.
  • Oversee and validate technical implementations, ensuring adherence to standards.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders, providing updates and setting expectations.
  • Track service trends and contribute to QBRs with actionable insights.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science degree with 7+ years of IT experience, including client-facing roles.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune device management.
  • Working knowledge of Azure fundamentals and Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102) preferred.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills across identity, endpoint, cloud, and networking layers.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Experience with ITIL foundations and MSP service environments beneficial.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and competing tasks effectively.
