Job Description

Overview

  • Support the membership team with administrative tasks during a busy conference preparation period.
  • Primarily remote role with occasional onsite requirements as needed.
  • Engage with lapsed members via phone and email to ensure active participation.
  • Assist with data entry and database updates to maintain accurate member records.
  • Collaborate with the team to track outreach attempts and follow-up communications.
  • Flag member inquiries and concerns for appropriate staff follow-up.
  • Provide entry-level support to the membership team in preparation for the upcoming conference.
  • Opportunity to gain experience in membership management and conference coordination.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform accurate data entry to maintain and update member records in the database.
  • Contact lapsed members via phone and email to encourage re-engagement.
  • Track outreach attempts and document progress in the system.
  • Assist with follow-up communications to ensure member satisfaction.
  • Identify and flag member questions or concerns for further staff action.
  • Support the team during conference preparation by handling administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless membership operations.
  • Provide remote assistance with flexibility for occasional onsite work.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience, with preference for candidates with up to 10 years.
  • Experience in membership management or related fields is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in data entry and database management.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with members via phone and email.
  • Ability to work remotely with occasional onsite availability.
  • Own a computer suitable for remote work tasks.
