Senior Estimator – Ground-Up Light Industrial Construction

Overview

• Lead estimation efforts for ground-up light industrial construction projects, ensuring accurate cost analysis and project feasibility.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for ground-up light industrial construction projects.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine scope and requirements.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing information.
• Develop and present bid proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor and update project budgets throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide support in contract negotiations and vendor selection processes.

• Mentor junior estimators and contribute to team development.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction estimation, preferably in light industrial projects.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools, such as Bluebeam or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate estimations.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards in construction estimation.
