Job Description

Overview

  • Lead demand planning and forecasting processes for a global supply chain organization.
  • Develop and maintain a 12-24 month rolling forecast aligned with sales and operations planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement in production planning and customer delivery capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory and supply chain performance.
  • Utilize SAP and Microsoft Power BI for effective data analysis and reporting.
  • Plan product phase-in/phase-out strategies to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Support urgent part shortage resolution and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Lead supply chain improvement projects locally and globally.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Drive the Sales & Operations Planning process for optimized production plans.
  • Analyze historical and future demand patterns to align material supply with product demand.
  • Develop and maintain planning bills of material for configured products.
  • Ensure accurate and timely KPI reporting using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Plan and execute product phase-in/phase-out strategies effectively.
  • Collaborate with MRP Buyer/Planners to address demand changes promptly.
  • Lead supply chain improvement initiatives to enhance performance.
  • Provide training and development plans for team members to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Planning, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain planning or production control.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain concepts and their application.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for presentations and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in driving team performance and development.
