Overview
- Serve as the Family Office Accountant for a private investment entity, managing fund accounting and financial operations.
- Collaborate with investment professionals to ensure accurate accounting for private equity and private credit investments.

- Oversee cash flow forecasting, capital calls, and distributions for investment portfolios.
- Support the transition to SS&C systems, ensuring seamless accounting operations.
- Manage external tax and audit processes, coordinating with CBIZ and auditors.
- Perform light administrative tasks related to investment paperwork and documentation.
- Contribute to the organization’s compliance as a registered investment advisor (RIA).
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage fund accounting for private equity and private credit investments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate capital calls, distributions, and cash flow forecasting for investment portfolios.
- Oversee the transition to SS&C systems, optimizing accounting processes.
- Collaborate with external tax professionals and auditors to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and manage investment-related paperwork and administrative tasks.
- Support the organization’s compliance as a registered investment advisor (RIA).
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving financial operations and reporting.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders regarding financial and investment matters.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting; 15 years preferred.
- Proficiency in capital calls, distributions, and cash flow forecasting.
- Experience with Geneva accounting software is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with private equity and private credit investment operations.
- Strong organizational skills for managing administrative tasks and investment documentation.
- Ability to work remotely with minimal in-office requirements.
