Overview

  • Contribute to financial planning and analysis within a dynamic media organization undergoing rapid development and transformation.
  • Develop expertise in music publishing and broaden understanding of financial strategy and operations.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to gain industry insights for forecasting and strategic planning.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial models, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
  • Analyze revenue, costs, and investments to identify trends and inform decision-making.
  • Participate in month-end closing processes and contribute to accurate financial reporting.
  • Support strategic initiatives and ad-hoc reporting through detailed financial analysis.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Build and update financial models for reporting, budgeting, and forecasting purposes.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecast submissions.
  • Analyze current and past trends in revenue, costs, and investments.
  • Assist in creating strategic and financial materials for corporate presentations.
  • Coordinate with various teams to gather insights for forecasting and strategy purposes.
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards for company-wide use.
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis as directed by management.
  • Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and analysis.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, preferably in finance or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis; 3 years preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power Query is a plus.
  • Experience with financial reporting systems such as Power BI, SAP BPC, or OneStream.
  • CPA license or equivalent certification is preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate findings to senior management.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to self-review and ensure accuracy in deliverables.
  • Authorized to work in the United States; hybrid work arrangement available.
